Lo and behold, I DO know how to log in and blog!! YAY FOR ME!!!
Aaron and I are WELL into the design phase of our kitchen remodel. Surprisingly, we have had a really easy/fun time picking things out. We’ll see if we decide to make any major changes once all the final prices come in, but we think we are doing ok so far.
We went to the Tile Shop today and worked with a really fun lady to pick out our backsplash. So far we have dark brown floors, white cabinets, stainless appliances, a slate gray countertop, and a fun back splash that ties everything together. Here’s a close up photo I took at the store today with my phone:
I LOOOOOOVE it. If you had showed me this photo I would tel you it is the ugliest thing ever, but in person with the counter sample it is awesome. Here is what the floors look like. They are a walnut tahoe. If you click on the image it will bring you to the site:
So far the floors were the hardest to pick out. Aaron and I were wanting something marginally different, but, apparently we have expensive taste. :-) We are both happy with this choice and we were able to stay close to what we were hoping to spend on flooring.
If I was a good blogger I would make a cool mood board. Then again, if I was a good blogger, I would post more than once a month. Ha. Next on the list is finding lighting that we like that is affordable, and getting a kitchen sink faucet. We aren’t sure when construction will start yet, but, we are getting closer to the end of the design phase!!!
