So I just got an email from the GAP featuring a new style of jeans. Skimmer jeans.
I think I like them.
Not quite capris, and not quite ankle length jeans. I check style blogs now and then, and it seems that the “thing” is to cuff your pants to this length….so…why not just buy a pair at this length! I know why not – because they are like 70 bucks and I don’t spend that much on jeans. With a sale and/or a coupon code though I could probably be talked into purchasing a pair. If I didn’t have kids and wasn’t such a slob I’d totally be tempted to buy white!
So – skimmer jeans – love or loathe?

I dig ‘em (I think they’re perfect for Spring), and if you get then in the right color, they can carry into the fall when you want to wear tall boots!
I didn’t even think of the tall boot option!!! OF COURSE!! I’m so buying a pair.
I love love love. I just get so scared of anything “skinny” like. I love the length, I just worry I will look horrendous in them.
I bought my first pair of skinnies last fall and now I am addicted. Go to the thrift store and buy a pair – if you hate them you are only out a few dollars (that’s what I did for my first pair!). I am SURE you can do it!! If I can, you can!
I love them. Don’t hold your breath waiting for gap jeans to go on sale…seems every time they have a great sale “denim” is one of the exclusions.
I think this is one trend that will grow on me. Don’t love it yet, but I bet I’ll be wearing them in a few months.
I’m a FAN!! I love them. Oh and you know I can’t pop over and not mention the Bachelor. So I am really convinced Tierra is nuts. I think she made up the whole story about the guy dying and I don’t think she went into hypothermia. She is playing dirty and I don’t like her!!
