All right people. I need help. And I need help now.
I need to buy a bed. Like yesterday. I’m having troubles deciding. I’ve been using the same bed since college which was also the same bed us kids used growing up. It’s old. And I’m a big girl now with a big girl job so it’s time I use some of that grown up money on a grown up bed.
I hate spending money on things like beds. How boring.
Anyhow. This is where I need your help. I have 3 beds I like in 3 dramatically different price points.
First up, the IKEA cheap bed. Cute. Clean. Cheap. $250.

Next up. The overstock bed. I’ve never ordered anything off of overstock but a friend of mine buys all of his furniture off of overstock so it can’t be all bad right? $320.

And finally, the Crate and Barrel bed. So cute and perfect yet way more expensive. $800.

So what should I do? Cheap and cute but not as sturdy and big girl-ish? A gamble on the online shopping? The classically amazing yet way more expensive Crate and Barrel??

It seems like you will keep the bed for a long time – look how long you have had the bed you have now. The overstock.com bed looks a little SHORT (not in length – in height). I like the Ikea bed — but that Crate and Barrel bed is CLASSIC and I think it would last you a very long time!
I agree with Pat! I like the Overstock bed and I really love the Crate and Barrel bed!! The ikea one is cute, but the other two are timeless!
I think a bed is a bigger investment, not something you change out very often, so it’s ok to splurge and get what you really like!
I like the Overstock or Crate and Barrel version. Both are lovely. I really don’t think you can go wrong!
Overstock! I’ve made several purchases from them and always been thoroughly satisfied. The price point is right, the bed is classic … and you save almost $500 which could be spent on some really fabulous bedding.

Have you checked Craigslist? That C&B one is gorgeous. Of course.
My vote is for either the overstock of the C&B bed. The Ikea bed doesn’t scream big girl bed to me. I agree with the above commenter that the overstock one does look a little short in height. I say if you have the money, get the C&B one!
I like the Overstock bed! I had a sleigh bed (same thought — I’m an adult I need an adult bed!) in Georgia, but it stayed there and I got an Overstock bed here that I love almost as much.
I like that you get good quality for not such a scary price.
